Making daily electric vehicle charging comfortable, simple and smart. From the very beginning, the company’s mission was to solve the problems of manual charging of electric vehicles, contributing to their diffusion and improvement of the world in which we live.
Dazetechnology was born from the passion, interest and enthusiasm for everything related to sustainable mobility. DazeTechnology S.r.l. was founded by two mechanical engineers Andrea Daminelli and Giacomo Zenoni in August 2016. Since then, innovative ideas and cutting-edge projects have led Dazetechnology to hold a fundamental place in the panorama of electric mobility.
Dazetechnology srl was founded by the two mechanical engineers Andrea Daminelli and Giacomo Zenoni in August 2016. From the first moment the mission of the company has been to solve the problem of the manual charging of electric vehicles.
The 20th September 2016 Dazetechnolgy srl filed the patent application entitled “Power Supply Equipment for Electric Vehicles”. From this first version, the patent developed following the principal upgrades till today.
The Alamo Foundation was the first who strongly believed in DazeTechnology. With a seed investment in early 2017, DazePlug’s design started.
Dazeplug won the Amazon Launchpad Special Award of the 17th edition of Gaetano Marzotto Award, for the most innovative product startup. The project obtained also in that year the 1st place in Start Cup Bergamo and the 3rd place in ChinItaly Challenge in Chengdu.
After a year of research and development supported by Daminelli Srl and Fae Technology SpA the first prototype of DazePlug recharged a Nissan Leaf in a completely autonomous way.
In September 2018 DazeTechnology started a 6 months advanced Proof of Concept with Enel x on Dazeplug, aimed to evaluate the commercial interest and the reliability of the system.
In March 2019 DazePlug proposal for the European Commission’s program “Horizon 2020” received the Seal of Excellence. This means passing all stringent Horizon 2020 assessment thresholds for the 3 award criteria (excellence, impact, quality and efficiency of implementation) required to receive funding from the EU budget Horizon 2020.
