August 2016 - Founded

Dazetechnology srl was founded by the two mechanical engineers Andrea Daminelli and Giacomo Zenoni in August 2016. From the first moment the mission of the company has been to solve the problem of the manual charging of electric vehicles.
2 - Patent deposit

September 2016 - Patent Deposit

The 20th September 2016 Dazetechnolgy srl filed the patent application entitled “Power Supply Equipment for Electric Vehicles”. From this first version, the patent developed following the principal upgrades till today.

February 2017 - Seed Investment

The Alamo Foundation was the first who strongly believed in DazeTechnology. With a seed investment in early 2017, DazePlug's design started.

November 2017 - Amazon Launchpad Award

Dazeplug won the Amazon Launchpad Special Award of the 17th edition of Gaetano Marzotto Award, for the most innovative product startup. The project obtained also in that year the 1st place in Start Cup Bergamo and the 3rd place in ChinItaly Challenge in Chengdu.
5- First working prototype

February 2018 - First Working Prototype

After a year of research and development supported by Daminelli Srl and Fae Technology SpA the first prototype of DazePlug recharged a Nissan Leaf in a completely autonomous way.

September 2018 - Enel X Collaboration

In September 2018 DazeTechnology started a 6 months advanced Proof of Concept with Enel x on Dazeplug, aimed to evaluate the commercial interest and the reliability of the system.

March 2019 - Seal of Excellence

In March 2019 DazePlug proposal for the European Commission's program "Horizon 2020" received the Seal of Excellence. This means passing all stringent Horizon 2020 assessment thresholds for the 3 award criteria (excellence, impact, quality and efficiency of implementation) required to receive funding from the EU budget Horizon 2020.

April 2019 - Commercialisation

In April 2019 Dazeplug will be available for purchase for the first time on www.dazetechnology.com. It is the first autonomous conductive charger for electric cars commercialized in the world.
